Recent report from NTT and the Economist[1] shows that over half of the companies surveyed plan to deploy a private 5G network within the next 6-24 months. A trend fueled by the rapid adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI), automation, machine-to-machine communications and the Internet of Things (IoT); All increasingly data-driven application flourishing in sectors such as industrial manufacturing, logistics, automotive and healthcare to name a few.
